Newcomer to the pastry world gives a modern spin to an old southern favorite. LaToya Cross, owner of La Peach, started selling cobblers for holiday gatherings and special events as a student at Florida A&M University, lovingly known as “FAMU”. Now, her infamous cobblers are being sold for all seasons and occasions. Her signature dishes originate from her mother’s recipes. At an early age, LaToya baked cobblers in the kitchen with her mother in Anchorage, Alaska and has now uniquely crafted these delicious cobblers with her own touch.
Established in 2017, La Peach will have you thinking of the nostalgia from grandma’s homemade peach cobbler with a dash of a modern twist! Signature dishes like her browned butter bourbon, crispy streusel, or maple cobblers will change the way you see peach cobbler. She’s even got a dish for those vegans with a sweet tooth! Working on gluten free, btw :)
So don’t just think of peach cobbler for special occasions, because as she states, “who says you have to have cake on your birthday”?
